Whittaker (36-12-2 with 23 KO?s) is to fight David Toribio (19-12-0 with 12 KO?s) from the Dominican Republic, fighting out of Florida, rated 133rd in his division, in what hopes to be a brutal 12 round all out fight, promoted ?AMBUSH?, for the WBC and USBA Junior Middle Weight Championship belt, on June 11 at Camana Bay on the beautiful Caribbean island of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
A long time amateur boxer in his home country, ?Killa? Whittaker moved to Florida and trained out of the Philippines in order to further his career. His boxing aspirations moved forward apace, which in turn lead to him making the decision to move to the professional ranks.
