Cecilia ?La Reina? Comunales vs Adriana ?A Garota? Salles in Uruguay Apr 19

Sampson Boxing in association with Sergio Marquez Producciones is proud to announce the UBO Lightweight title defense bout of Cecilia ?La Reina? Comunales on April 19th, 2011 at the Rio Uruguay Amphitheatre. This scenic venue is nestled on the river coastline that separates Uruguay with Argentina. In the main event, UBO Lightweight division champion, Cecilia ?La Reina? Comunales (7-1-0, 5 K.O.?s) from Paysand?, Uruguay vs. Adriana ?A Garota? Salles (11-6-1, 5 K.O.?s) from Brazil.

The fights will be initiated with local boxing sensation Jose Del Forno, who represents the longest amateur boxing career in Uruguay. This evening, you will also see the Jackson brothers and cousin Samuel Rogers in action. Sons and nephew of the future Hall of Fame and WBC/WBA, Light & Middleweight Champion Julian ?The Hawk? Jackson. In the Light Middleweight division, undefeated John Jackson (9-0-0, 8 K.O.?s) from the Virgin Islands, U.S.A. vs. Welson Alves De Oliveira (14-4-0, 12 K.O.?s) from Brazil. Next, a rumble in the Super Middleweight division, undefeated Julius ?The Chef? Jackson (10-0-0, 6 K.O.?s) vs. Roberto ?Pit Bull? Oliveira De Jesus (9-6-0, 4 K.O.?s) from Brazil. A brawl is expected in the Light Middleweight division where undefeated Samuel Rogers (8-0-0, 3 K.O.?s) vs. Idiozan ?Chibata? Matos (14-12-0, 8 K.O.?s) will square off.

Sampson Boxing President, Sampson Lewkowicz stated: ?We are pleased with the success of the prior show in Punta Del Este and participation of the people of Uruguay. We expect this exciting fight card will draw the boxing fans of Uruguay to continue to cement this and future boxing events in my born country. The fights will be televised on Vtv, the largest sports network in Uruguay.
