ANA JULATON MEETS PRESIDENT ARROYO

Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (seated, 2nd from right), who was making a stop at the Bay Area earlier this week before heading out to meet President Barack Obama for the Nuclear Summit, met with the "Queen of Philippine Boxing" current IBA and WBO Superbantamweight champion Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton. Arroyo who was recognizing the Bay Area Filipino Community leaders recognized Ana as a pioneer in the sport of boxing and an inspiration to all Filipino's World Wide. Julaton is very much looking forward to coming to the Philippines this year and had told the Madame President Arroyo she has already started training for her next fight scheduled to be in June. "I would really love to fight in the Philippines this Year" she excitedly told President Arroyo. Lt. Governor Mona Pasquil (seated, left) speaks very highly of Ana and is in full support of Ana Julaton's message for Women Empowerment, uplifting the spirit of the Filipino People Worldwide and being a great role model.
