BANAL, AMONSOT FIGHTS TO BE SHOWN SAT. AND SUN. ON ABS-CBN

The hugely successful boxing event in Tagbilaran City last Jan. 31 featuring the smashing return of AJ 'Bazooka' Banal and Czar Amonsot will be shown on Studio 23 on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9:00 p.m. and will be replayed on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 10:00 a.m. on ABS-CBN Channel 2.
Banal (18-1-1 15KOs) knocked down his Indonesian opponent Nouldy Manakane (17-8-1 8KOs) in the second round before finishing him off in the 4th round with a stunning 1-2 combination. Amonsot (19-3-1 11KOs), likewise, knocked down his opponent Zoel Fidal (16-7-2), also of Indonesia, in the 2nd round before sending Fidal to the canvas for good in the 5th round.
The event dubbed as 'They Are Back' was staged by ALA Promotions with the support of Tagbilaran City Mayor Dan Neri Lim and city of Tagbilaran and was witnessed by an estimated crowd of 15,000 who filled the parking lot of the Island City Mall.
