ALA Promotions in association with Summit Natural Drinking Water unfolds its annual traditional Sinulog boxing event in the third Cebu episode of Summit ?Fight Night? boxing tour with a triple thriller on Sunday, January 18 at the Gaisano Countrymall car park.
Heading the cast is the resurging former world contender Eriberto ?Yukka? Gejon who will again attempt to regain his prominence in the world boxing circle when he tangles with RP No. 7 Ronald Castrodes of Manila.
Gejon, the battle-scarred veteran is a recent winner over Davao?s upcoming pugilist Brix ?Boom? Ray in his first comeback fight under the tutelage of ALA Gym where he now trains.
?My aim is to get back to the top 10 world contenders and hopefully ? challenge again for a world title,? confesses the soft-spoken Gejon who now fights under ALA Promotion.
Summit Natural Drinking Water ? Fight Night? boxing tour whose aim is to explore the potential of promising fighters is definitely on the right track as two fast-rising warriors, ALA boy Jomanz Omanz battles the raging-bull Carlo Magale in a 10-round contest headlines its boxing developmental project.
Omanz and Magale are both highly-rated RP contenders and fights in the same crowd-pleasing styles of throwing bombs from start to finish. The encounter is predicted not to last the distance.
Meanwhile, to complete the cast of the triple main event is the confrontation between knockout artist James Bacon of ALA Gym and Jaypee Ignacio of Elorde stable. The 8?round contest promises to be a slam-bang affair which could steal the thunder from the two main featured bouts.
