World Ranked Heavyweight Dainier Pero Headlines on Saturday, January 17th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia PhilBoxing.com Wed, 07 Jan 2026 Plus Undefeaed Mekhi Phillips, Pryce Sparrow, 16-Year-Old Phenom David Garcia, Otabek Melikov and Eduardo Corona PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – January 6, 2026 --On Saturday night, January 17th, undefeated and world ranked heavyweight Dainier Pero will headline a seven-bout card at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The card is promoted by King's Promotions. Pero, 26-years-old of Miami via Cameguay, Cuba is ranked number-seven by the WBA and has a record of 11-0 with eight knockouts. As an amateur, Peró won gold medals at both the 2019 Pan American Games and 2016 Youth World Championships.. Peró also competed at the 2020 Olympics. The four-year pro is promoted by Boxlab Promotions and has victories over James Evans (7-1-1), Walter Burns (8-2) and his last outing when he won a 10-round unanimous decision over Cesar Navarro (13-2) on May 9, 2025 in Orlando, Florida. In Six-Round Bouts: Lemir Isom Riley (5-7, 3 KOs) of Harrisburg, PA fights Joel Caudle (9-11-2, 6 KOs) of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mehki Phillips (8-0, 8 KOs) of Maryland fights Yeuri Andujar (7-8-1, 4 KOs) of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic in a lightweight contest. Pryce Sparrow (4-0, 3 KOs) of Radcliffe, Georgia takes on Eduardo Hernandez Trejo (8-5, 5 KOs) of Tijuana, Mexico in a super lightweight bout. In Four-Round Bouts: Gabriel Colon of Philadelphia will make his pro debut against Soslan Alborov (1-3-1, 1 KO) of Philadelphia in a super welterweight bout. 16-year-old David Garcia (4-0, 3 KOs) of Las Vegas takes on an opponent to be named in a bantamweight fight. Otabek Melikov (1-0, 1 KO) of Philadelphia takes on an opponent to be named in a featherweight fight. Eduardo Corona (1-0, 1 KO) of Brick Town, NJ takes on Josue Sosa Mendez (1-0, 1 KO) of Miami in a lightweight tussle.
