ALLEN AND MAKHMUDOV MEET FOR FIRST FACE-OFF IN SHEFFIELD AHEAD OF HUGE HEAVYWEIGHT SHOWDOWN – LIVE ON DAZN

Dave Allen tonight sized up the mammoth task that awaits him this weekend as he stood toe-to-toe with rival Arslanbek Makhmudov for the first time.
The pair faced-off in Sheffield City Centre on Tuesday night to kickstart Fight Week as the countdown to Saturday's huge Heavyweight showdown – live worldwide on the Global Home of Boxing, DAZN – draws closer.
Fresh from arriving from his Canada base, Mahkmudov – at a lofty 6ft 7in – towered over the 'White Rhino' but both men showed the respect is mutual as they prepare for an all-out war at Sheffield's Utilita Arena.
Last remaining tickets are on sale with over 8,000 fans ready to roar the 33-year-old Doncaster native.
The two will meet again at Thursday's Press Conference – which Media are invited to attend.
