KEVIN BROWN TRAINING CAMP NOTES

ORLANDO, FL (September 16, 2025) – Undefeated WBA Continental North American Super Lightweight Champion Kevin Brown (7-0, 3 KOs) returns to the ring on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, as Boxlab Promotions presents another electrifying edition of its premier fight series, “Night of Champions.” The event will be steam live on BXNGTV, and tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com.

Co-promoted by Boxlab Promotions and Warriors Boxing, the rising Cuban star will defend his title against dangerous Mexican combatant Juan Meza Angulo (9-2, 6 KOs) of Ensenada, MX. The scheduled 10-round bout marks another crucial step in Brown’s pursuit of world championship status and a chance to solidify his place among the super lightweight division’s most talked-about prospects.

Brown, who recently wrapped up training camp in Las Vegas under the world-renowned guidance of coach Ismael Salas, shared insights on his preparation and mindset going into this pivotal fight. Here is what he had to say.

On his recent training camp in Las Vegas with coach Ismael Salas

“Training in Las Vegas with Coach Salas has taken me to a different level—mentally, physically, and technically. Every day we focus on sharpening my skills and improving my ring IQ. This has been my most focused and intense camp yet.”

On his matchup with Juan Meza Angulo

“Juan Meza is a tough, hungry fighter. I respect what he brings to the ring, but I’m coming to make a statement. Styles make fights, and I believe mine will break him down. I’m prepared for whatever he brings.”

On defending his WBA Continental North American title and climbing the rankings

“Every defense of this belt is another opportunity to climb the ranks and prove I belong with the elite. I’m not just here to win—I’m here to dominate and move closer to a world title shot.”

On being grateful to his team and promoters for giving him this opportunity

“I’m incredibly thankful to my team, to Coach Salas, and to my promoters—Boxlab and Warriors Boxing. Without their belief in me and their support, none of this would be possible. I’m proud to represent them every time I step into the ring.”

Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions, spoke with pride and optimism about Brown’s progress and what fans can expect from the rising star. “Kevin Brown is taking big strides every time he steps in the ring. His growth as a seasoned fight is getting better. What he’s shown so far is just the beginning of what he’s capable of. We believe he has all the tools to become a world champion, and we’re honored to guide him on that path. Fans in Orlando are in for something exceptional on September 19.”
