The bout, which remains for the WBA Continental USA Championship, will air live on DAZN as part of MVP’s Fight Night card on Saturday, August 23, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Ortiz knows a late replacement changes the dynamics, but he insists it doesn’t change his mission. “Bautista stepping in last minute doesn’t throw me off — it fuels me. He’s hungry, he’s dangerous, and he’s coming with nothing to lose. That makes him a real threat. But I’ve been locked in all camp, and it doesn’t matter who’s across from me — I’m here to dominate, adjust, and show why I’m one of the best in the division.” Ortiz credits his grueling camp with sharpening his mindset and making him more dangerous than ever. “This camp was all about discipline and sacrifice.
