2020 Mexican Olympian Brianda Tamara Cruz Set for USA Debut on April 19

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 7, 2025) – Rising Mexican boxing star and 2020 Olympian Brianda Tamara Cruz (1-0) is set to make her highly anticipated USA debut on April 19, 2025, at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA, an event promoted by Showtime Boxing Promotions. Cruz, who is managed by Mark Habibi and Miguel Lopez, is determined to make a name for herself in the professional ranks. Cruz will step into the ring for a six-round bout against an opponent to be announced. All the action will stream live on WBCBOXING.com.

Having gained global recognition in the amateur ranks, Cruz now embarks on an important chapter of her career as she looks to establish herself on the international stage. Her U.S. debut marks a pivotal moment in her journey as she seeks to follow in the footsteps of Mexico’s legendary fighters.
