RP BLU BOYS SHOW THEIR METTLE AS THEY SCORE TWIN WINS ON FIRST DAY OF MEN’S SOFTBALL ASIA CUP 2023

An amazing day one performance by the RP Blu Boys softball team has led them to an undefeated 2-0 streak at the Men’s Softball Asia Cup 2023 held in Kochi, Japan on Sunday.
Their opening bout with India was nothing short of impressive when they outran their opponents, 5-1. After only a few hours of rest, the Cebuana Lhuillier-backed team took the field anew and
overwhelmed Chinese-Taipei, scoring a victory of 7-1.
Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) President Jean Henri Lhuillier was ecstatic with the back-to-back wins: “The RP Blu Boys have trained so hard for this. It has been an absolute delight watching the team grow to be a formidable squad. We will be here supporting the Blu Boys all the way to the finish!”
The RP Blu Boys are set to take the field twice again tomorrow, June 26, against Singapore in the morning and against defending champion,Japan, in the afternoon.-Marlon Bernardino-
