WATCH OUT DAVID, MANNY IS BACK ON THE GROOVE
By Ed de la Vega, DDS PhilBoxing.com Fri, 16 May 2008

Los Angeles, CA - After all the wait for Manny Pacquiao to begin his training at the Wildcard, things have finally settled down and today, (Thursday, LA Time) Pacquiao finally got to the Wildcard on his usual time to begin preparing for David Diaz.
?He was at the Wildcard today just about the usual time as before and he went right to work?, said our very reliable sources. Usual training time for Pacquiao is about noon, give or take a few minutes to compensate for traffic and other unexpected delays.
Yesterday (Wednesday, LA Time) there were some concerned look from the usual hangers on at the Wildcard, this writer included. Even veteran team members were a little fretful. This was because Pacquiao was not yet at the gym and it was almost 5 PM.
Following up the reason why there was such an apparent no show, we found out that really, there should have been no cause for alarm.
The Pacman was not playing hooky.
The poor guy is just so jet lag that he fell asleep past the usual training time. Of course no one can blame him for that. Jet lag is a usual physiologic reaction of a normal body.
But dedicated as he always was, Pacquiao insisted later in the day at about 6PM to proceed with his training.
Now, that is what we call as being focused!
True enough, he dragged the whole team to the Wildcard where Freddie Roach was waiting and the training went on albeit, a little late.
Today however, things are back on schedule. Back to normal we should say.
Thus, this is much we can say:- Watch out David, Manny is back on the groove.
That, can only spell disaster if you blink an eye.
