Miel Fajardo, Ador Torres, Toshihiko Era Make Weight for ABF Triple Header in Thailand

Fajardo (L) and Sarawut at Tuesday's weighin in Bangkok.

BANGKOK, Thailand -- World-ranked Filipino Miel Fajardo, tough Pinoy warrior Ador Torres and Japanese Toshihiko Era successfully made weight ahead of their respective ABF title battles staged by award-winning Asian promoter Brico Santig's Highland Boxing Promotions set for Wednesday, December 28, at the SpacePlus Night Club here in Bangkok, Thailand.

The battles will air live in Thailand on HD on CHIC TV Channel 80, and for fans outside Thailad on Facebook and YouTube from the promoter's pages. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqE6EpYD4xD6RYC_0aWuppw (fights starting at 4 pm Filipino time)

The Hard-hitting Miel Fajardo (a.k.a "The Silent Assassin"), the promising Filipino 108-pounder rated in the world ranking of all four major sanctioning bodies, made 50.8 kilos, looking strong, serious and super fit.

His opponent, Thai "KO Artist" Sarawut Jiamthong (7-2, 7 KO's), came in at 50.13 kgs as the two young men collide hard for the vacant ABF Continental Flyweight Title.

Fajardo (L) and Sarawut face the cameras during Tuesday's weighin in Bangkok.

Currently ranked as WBA#11, WBC #16, IBF#12 and WBO#14, the Pinoy Miel Fajardo puts all on the line.

World rankings would be gone in a blink of an eye should Miel fall to the power of the young, heavy-handed Sarawut. One little mistake and lights out. Will that happen?

Will it be the 22-year-old Filipino fighter emerge victorious? His manager Filipino-American Monte Flores is confident on Miel Fajardo's skills, punching-power, and speed.

"Miel has won all of his 4 fights abroad. He has won before in China and Dubai, U.A.E, can also win again here in Thailand, "thinks Flores, the manager/coach who works in he medical field in the U.S.A.

ADOR TORRES VS WATTANA NIAMSUWAN, ANOTHER TOUGH TEST FOR THE FILIPINO

Fresh from two consecutive KO triumphs, the friendly and affable Ador Torres (6-4-1, 3 KO's), born in Sorsogon, Philippines, tipped the scales in Thailand at 66.81 kilos for his rumble against strong warrior Wattana Niamsuwan, 23, who weighed-in at 64.3 kilos.

Torres and Wattana (C) pose during Tuesday's weighin in Bangkok.

"I will do my best to get this win," assures Torres, a quiet 27 year-old southpaw who also competes in MMA wars. "I want to advance my boxing career, want to become ABF Welterweight champion, and keep going."

JAPAN'S TOSHIHIKO ERA DEFENDS AGAINST SILEM SERANG

In another entertaining skirmish, Nippon tough combatant Toshihiko Era (8-1, 7 KO's), defends his ABF Flyweight Strap against the experienced Silem Serang, 33, of Depok, Indonesia.

Known here in Thailand for his slick moves, speed and heavy bombs, the Japanese born in Osaka recorded 50.9 kgs, while the younger Silem - handled by former fighter Jack Amisa, - made 48.2 kilos, both fighters looking in fantastic shape, standing fast, ready to rock.

The rumble will be Toshihiko Era's 3rd defense of the 112-pound ABF title that he conquered by overpowering Wichet Sengprakhon last March in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Will the compatriot of thrilling Monster King Naoya Inoue be successful Wednesday night in Thailand? Or will the battle-tested Indonesian warrior prescribe the Nippon with one heck of a rough load of leather?

AND MORE ACTION FIGHTS

Furthermore, Iranian welterweight "Prince Panther" Khasaiar Ghassemi (5-3, 5 KO's) of Iran's Capital, Tehran, made 66.8 kilos as he locks horns against fearless Thai Viroj Wanram, who steeped-in at 66.66 kgs for their action-packed six-round rumble.

The first bout of the evening features an all-Thai afair: Super Featherweights Manat Sopatip and Thai compatriot Aphisit Kaenrot trade heavy artillery in a 6-episode struggle.

The exciting triple boxing show is promoted by award-winning Filipino promoter Brico Santig of Highland Boxing, in association with Thai man of boxing Supanat Chanram, Thailand Chic TV Channel 80, and Bangkok's Night Club big boss Tony Chen.

The Facebook and Youtube action starts at 3 PM local Thailand TIme (UTC + 7, 4 pm in the Philippines, 5 pm in Japan, 3 pm in Indonesia)
