NBA Daily: Antetokounmpo Struts MVP Form to Lead Bucks Past Suns 129-108

Boracay Island, Philippines – Just two days removed from their loss to the Denver Nuggets, the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks bounced back in a dominant fashion by beating the Phoenix Suns 129-108 on Sunday night (Monday morning, Philippine time) at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Reigning league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo flirted with a triple-double, as he finished with 30 points, 19 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. Khris Middleton added 25 markers, to go with 8 boards and 6 dimes for the Bucks, who had six other players scoring at least 8 points.
With the victory, Milwaukee fortified its hold on the top spot of the overall team standings with 42 wins against only 7 losses.
Devin Booker topscored for Phoenix with 32 points. DeAndre Ayton and Kelly Oubre, Jr. had double-doubles of 20PTS-14REBS and 15PTS-10REBS, respectively for the Suns, who dropped to 11th place on the Western Conference team standings with a t 20-29 win-loss card.
The Suns will travel to Brooklyn to face the Irving-less Nets on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Bucks will travel to New Orleans to face the Pelicans on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, Philippine time) in a highly-anticipated Giannis-Zion faceoff.
