NBA Daily: LaVine Explodes for 49, as Bulls Survive Hornets 116-115
By Reylan Loberternos PhilBoxing.com Mon, 25 Nov 2019

Boracay Island, Philippines – Zach LaVine finished with career high 49 points that included the game-clinching 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left to help the Chicago Bulls eke out a 116-115 squeaker over the Hornets on Saturday night (Sunday morning, Philippine time) at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
To cap off a magnificent performance, he also joined the Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as the only players in league history to have made 13 shots from the rainbow territory in an NBA game.
Rookie sensation Coby White, who played college ball for the University of North Carolina, added 28 points for Chicago off the bench.
Terry Rozier III topscored for Charlotte with 28 markers across his name. Marvin Williams added 21 bench points on a very efficient 9-for-10 field goal shooting.
The Hornets, who dropped to a 6-11 win-loss card, will travel to Miami, Florida to face the Heat on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Bulls, who improved to 6 wins against 11 losses, will host the Portland Trail Blazers on the same date.
