GORRES IN PUBLIC WORKOUT!

IBF Intercontinental super flyweight champion Z "The Dream" Gorres will do a public sparring session on January 17, Thursday 5:30PM at the ALA Boxing Gym in Banilad Town Center in preparation for his big February 2 bout against Australia's Vic Darchinyan at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
"I owe it to Cebuano boxing fans to show them that I am preparing hard for this event," Gorres said in a statement released to the media.
The Mandaue City-based fighter has been working out and training doubly hard for the upcoming fight, running on flat and hilly terrain for his stamina, and doing his sparring at the ALA Gym where he has so far sparred more than 80 rounds.
