Boxing's only eight division world champion and Philippine senator Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao starts his Los Angeles camp by running at the hilly Griffith Park in Los Angeles Monday morning (Tuesday in Manila). Pacquiao, the WBA regular world welterweight champion, arrived in the United States on Saturday, June 15 ahead of his WBA welterweight supremacy battle against reigning WBA super world welterweight champion Keith Thurman of the United States at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 20.
Pacquiao will train at Freddie Roach's Wildcard Gym in Hollywood in the next four weeks before his team motors to Las Vegas during the fight week.
Thurman, 30, is undefeated with a record of 29 wins with 22 knockouts while Pacquiao, 40, who is now boxing for more than two decades, has a record of 61 wins, seven losses and two draws with 39 knockouts.
