PHOTOS: PACQUIAO SATURDAY WORKOUT AT ELORDE'S
PhilBoxing.com Sat, 01 Jun 2019

Eight division world champion and Philippine senator Manny Pacquiao works out at the Elorde Boxing Gym located at E-Com Center in Pasay City Saturday, June 1 as he continues to prepare for his upcoming WBA welterweight supremacy fight against the undefeated Keith Thurman of the United States scheduled on July 20 (July 21 in Manila) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Reports indicated that Pacquiao has been highly motivated and a little bit angry in this camp as Thurman continues to belittle the Filipino veteran's abilities.
?I just don?t see anything that Manny Pacquiao can do in the ring. He?s too small. They say he?s fast. To me, he?s slow. You know? His movements are predictable," Thurman told Boxingscene Friday.
?Like I said, I?m doing to Manny Pacquiao what Manny Pacquiao did to Oscar De La Hoya. It will be his last fight,? Thurman added.
Pacquiao's trainer Buboy Fernandez told Rappler that the Filipino senator is angry. ?Manny rarely badmouths an opponent but he refers to Thurman as ?hambog (braggart) and mayabang (arrogant)," Fernandez who has been recently elected vice-mayor in his hometown in Polangui, Albay, said.
Team Pacquiao plans to leave for Los Angeles second week of June to finish their camp at Roach's Wildcard Gym in Hollywood more than a month before the fight.
