BERNALDEZ WINS IN THE U.S. VIA FIRST ROUND TKO
PhilBoxing.com Sun, 26 May 2019

Sanman Boxing stable Lightweight prospect Mark Bernaldez now (W19 KO13 L2 D0) easily disposed Hungarian David Berna (W17 KO16 L8 D0) via first round TKO. Berna was down shortly after the opening bell and was dropped for good courtesy of a quick left cross to the jaw. Berna tried to beat the count but appeared unfit to continue thus prompting the referee to wave the fight off. The fight was held in Miami, Florida under MR Promotions.
An ecstatic Bernaldez praised the training given to him by Cuban coach Moro Fernandez. ?It was the most grueling training camp I ever had with coach Moro but it was all worth it. This is the best shape I?ve ever been as a fighter. With my performance, I?m hoping and praying for bigger fights ahead. Thank you Sanman and MR Promotions for this opportunity,? Bernaldez stated.
According to Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, ?It was Bernaldez?s best performance. Coach Moro did a superb job in training him and we hope to continue to work with him with our other boxers. With this impressive performance, we will arrange a bigger fight for him next.?
