EARLY CANELO-JACOBS UNDERCARD RESULTS FROM LAS VEGAS

LAS VEGAS ? Below are the early results on the undercard of the Canelo Alvarez vs Daniel Jacobs middleweight unification bout at the T-Mobile Arena Saturday (Sunday in Manila).
John Ryder (28-4, 16KOs) of London, GBR is the new WBA interim Supermiddleweight champion after stopping Bilal Akkawy (20-1-1, 16KOs) in the 3rd round. Time of stoppage was 2:12.
John Ryder wins the WBA interim super middleweight title.
Aram Avagyan defends his WBC silver title.
In a Featherweight bout, Aram Avagyan (9-0-1, 4KOs) of Moscow, Russia successfully defended his WBC silver title with a unanimous decision victory over Francisco Esparaza (9-1-1, 3KOs) of Las Vegas, Nevada. Scores were 97-92 twice and 96-93 all in favor of Avagyan.
Espino wins over Wagner.
In the opening bout of the Canelo-Jacobs undercard, Alexis Espino of Las Vegas improved to 2-0, 1KO with a unanimous decision victory over Billy Wagner (1-1, 0KOs) of Great Falls, MT.
