WHAT MOTIVATES GABALLO
PhilBoxing.com Thu, 31 Jan 2019

Interim WBA World Bantamweight Champion Reymart ?Assassin? Gaballo (W20 KO17 L0 D0) will face Japanese prospect Yuya Nakamura on February 9 at the Midas Hotel and Casino in Manila. The event is presented by ESPN 5 who will telecast the fight live at 7:00 PM.
Ahead of the fight, Gaballo has been concerned about his ill grandfather who has been suffering from cancer. Latest update was that his grandpa has already passed away. This however did not stop Gaballo from religiously performing his training regimen. ?I know for a fact that Nakamura will be very prepared for this fight. Japanese boxers are natural tough warriors. I will never take chances. I maybe the favorite but I am just as hungry as any upcoming contender. I am so sad about my grandpa?s death and I am dedicating this fight to his loving memory. I will also win this fight for my father who has also been hospitalized. I want to make my family proud. Moreover, I wanna show the fans what I am made of as a warrior. ?
For Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, a victory will open doors to bigger fights for Gaballo. ?He is already an interim world champion. We hope to grab the regular championship belt within the year. Gaballo is hardworking. No doubt he is in line to be Philippines? next world champion.?
Gaballo further stated in closing, ?I am very grateful to Sanman, Moros gym and to ESPN 5 for the untiring support. I will win this coz I know bigger fights are in store for me. It feels great to fight in front of my countrymen much more that the fight is televised on national TV again. I will do my best to entertain.?
