AJ Plumps For Wilder Ahead Of 2018's Biggest Fight
PhilBoxing.com Sat, 01 Dec 2018

Anthony Joshua has offered his thoughts on this weekend?s fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury as well as how he sees his 2019 panning out, in an exclusive chat with William Hill.
The IBF, WBA and WBO Heavyweight Champion would not be drawn into who he would like to fight next, stating, ?I?m not even going to go into that. Everyone knows who I want to fight. I?m not even going to go into it and give him free publicity. I?ve spoken about this person for the last year.?
Joshua was a little more open on who will win this weekend?s bout - ?Definitely Wilder. There, I?ve said it. Fury had a long lay-off and wasn?t training. I think Fury will lose, Wilder will win and provided there is no rematch clause in the contract there is no reason for us (Fury) to fight.?
William Hill, for whom Anthony Joshua is Global Ambassador, are predicting that this weekend?s fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder could be the biggest of the year, with early indications suggesting that up to ?100m could be wagered across the globe.
?This fight has already attracted a huge amount of betting interest which, for a fight that will be kicking off in the very early hours for us Brits is astounding,? said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. ?It also points towards a potential record breaking fight, in betting terms, on April 13th at Wembley next year.?
Tyson Fury is the 6/5 outsider to win the fight, however, is the worst result as fight fans are plumping for the ?Gypsy King?. At 8/11, Wilder, has attracted around 40% of all wagers.
