Heavy Handed Zach Dubnoff Eyes Pro Debut In December

PhilBoxing.com

Within the last year middleweight Zachary Dubnoff has made his mark amongst the top amateurs in New Jersey, winning three of his last four fights. The tall orthodox pugilist with fast and hard hands has proven he has both the technique and power to excel within the ropes of the squared circle.

At 30-years-old Dubnoff has made the decision to leave the amateur scene and work towards making his debut as a professional prize fighter. Under the tutelage of former heavyweight knockout artist Lou Esa, Dubnoff works to perfect his craft in anticipation of his debut this December.

?The kid (Dubnoff) is something special inside the ring,? said Esa. ?He works hard, he keeps his chin down, throws efficient punches, and most of all, he listens. He is up everyday before the sun comes up doing his roadwork, and when he?s here at the gym, its work, work, work. He?s hungry, and he wants it, and I know he is going to make a big impact on the pro scene.?

Esa has been around the fight game for decades, and following his retirement from fighting, has worked with top pros and amateurs and has established himself as one of the top trainers in the game.

?Me and Lou click, we work well in the gym and I know he has my best interest,? said Dubnoff. ?Boxing is more than a hobby to me, I want to turn pro and see how far I can go. This is for my kid and my family, and I?m ready to put the work in.?

Outside of the ring Dubnoff works full time to provide for his family in addition to training full time to prepare for his December bout. In boxing it is not what you do inside the gym, but what you do when nobody is watching. Esa is adamant about the unrelenting work ethic Dubnoff displays days in and days out.

?When it comes to boxing, it?s either a hobby or a lifestyle, plain and simple,? said Esa. ?If you want it, you work for it, and that?s it. Zach knows what we have to do to be ready to compete on the big stage and he leaves it all in the ring every workout. 30 is the new 20 in boxing. Look at GGG. 37-years-old and one of the best in the sport. Zach is in great shape and has the maturity and experience to go far.?

Zach Dubnoff has all the tools to be the

next big thing on the Jersey boxing scene; a class act inside and out of the ring, a driven father, and possesses sheer boxing talent. He has all the ingredients to make a huge explosion come December.

Information about Zach Dubnoff?s professional debut will be released by Lou Esa and his team within the next few weeks.
