Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs "El MagnifiKO" Diaz for WBC SuperFly Belt Saturday in Thailand

PhilBoxing.com

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, surely the most dangerous fighter in the super flyweight division, and one the the Top-10 Pound4Pound boxers on the planet, defends his WBC green 'n golden 115 world title this Saturday (Oct 6) at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

The relentless and devastating Sor Rungvisai (46-4-1, 41 KO's) will be taking on tough Mexican challenger "El MagnifiKO" Iran Diaz (14-2-3, 6 KO's) a man aiming at dethroning the powerful Thai destroyer (also known as Wisaksil Wangek), not an easy feat, as Sor Rungvisai is one of the most formidable super flyweight punchers since the times of legendary SuperFly Champion Khaosai Galaxy (47-1, 41 KO's), also a rough slugger from Thailand.

The 31 year-old Sor Rungvisai -- who said in an interview with ONE Championship Weekly that his favorite foods are grilled rats, which when eaten taste like chicken, as well as red ant egg salad (his favorite dish) -- feels well fed and in top form for his third world title defense against the Mexican fighter:

?I am in tremendous shape, ready to defend my title this Saturday night. Fighting in front of all fans here in Bangkok, and in front of all the Thai people, is both an honor and a privilege," said Sor Rungvisai to ONE Championship Weekly.

"So I will do everything in my power to keep my belt and defeat the worthy opponent I got in Iran Diaz," said the tormentor of Nicaraguan 4-division king Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (47-2, 39 KO's ).

Meanwhile, the Mexican challenger "El MagnifiKO" Diaz shared with One Championship Weekly: ?this is the most important fight of my career. I am proud to be in the best shape of my life, representing Mexico, and I am 100% ready.
"I know that he (Sor Rungvisai) is a very powerful and aggressive puncher. But I am confident on the strategy that my team and me have planned."

Saturday fans will find out.

Furthermore, it has been reported that Filipino IBF SuperFly World Champion Jerwin Ancajas (30-1-2, 20 KO's), who days ago defended in a controversial split draw his IBF red and golden 115 belt, will fly to Thailand to attend the exciting fight.

Might Jerwin Ancajas handlers be interested in a rumble against the winner of Saturday's clash for a WBC/IBF unification clash? If he is flying all the way to Thailand to be at ringside for Sor Rungvisai's fight is for a reason.

Or would it be more exciting a rematch of Sor Rungvisai vs Juan Francisco "El Gallo" Estrada? (If Sor Rungvisai is victorious)

The Sor Rungvisai vs Diaz war will be shown LIVE and free from the plush Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, to the world this Saturday (Oct 6) on the youtube link provided by Thai promoter ONE Championship Boxing.

If you are interested in watching, then on Saturday you click the youtube link bellow. And make sure that you will not miss the action by clicking on the "REMINDER ON" button and enjoy the slugfest.
