Three division world champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes and Aston 'Mighty' Palicte held a workout for the media Wednesday at Freddie Roach's Wildcard Gym in Los Angeles, CA ahead of their clash for the vacant WBO world super flyweight title fight in the co-feature match on Superfly 3 scheduled on Sep. 8 at The Forum at Inglewood, CA to be broadcast on HBO. Filipinos Nietes and Palicte are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively by the WBO in the super flyweight division.
Headlining the Superfly 3 event is former flyweight and super flyweight world champion Juan Francisco Estrada who will go up against compatriot Felipe Orucuta. Also on the card is the matchup between Japanese Kazuto Ioka and Puerto Rico's McWilliams Arroyo.
