SPONSORS LINING UP TO SUPPORT LA'S 'NIETES-PALICTE MEET & GREET'

PhilBoxing.com

Several sponsors had confirmed their support for the Los Angeles Filipino community ?Meet and Greet for Donnie Nietes and Aston Palicte.

Once again, one of Southern California?s largest and premier car dealership, South Coast Mitsubishi headed by CEO Abbas Ahmadi was first to respond.

Mr. Ahmadi designated his long time associate, Jay Conte of Los Angeles to coordinate with the event?s organizers the JE Partners (Otamias+delaVega) and provide support for the August 25th Meet and Greet Event for Donnie Nietes and Aston Palicte, two of the three Filipino greatest super Flyweights.

Amongst the things South Coast Mitsubishi will do is set a booth to distribute giveaways to those attending the event on August 25th at the Los Angeles Filipino Cultural Center located at 1740 Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90026. These giveaways almost always attract many boxing fans particularly from the Filipino and the Latino communities.

With 360?s Boxing Promotions support for the event confirmed by no other than their chief publicist Bernie Bahrmasel of the Double B Sports Publicity and Entertainment, a PR firm out of Chicago, Illinois now assured, the organizers are going full blast to make the event an entertaining and memorable event.

Invitations were sent to various Filipino media outlets and sports photographers as well as to other similar folks with interests in boxing. Measured from the initial similar event previously done by de la Vega and Otamias for Jerwin Ancajas and Jonas Sultan, the event on August 25 is expected to be bigger.

Special guests are also expected to grace the event headed by dignitaries from the Philippine Consulate, the Filipino print media and the who is who in the Filipino community.

Filipino boxers now training at Los Angeles were invited and expected to attend including Romero Duno, John Moralde, Recky Dulay and others. Filipino trainers Marvin Somodio, Rodel Mayol, Stanley Godinez and George Tanon Edillor are expected to be there as well.

As of this writing, more sponsors continue to come in. Leading the pack is George Tanon Edillor the CEO of EnergiX Martial Arts and Fitness. He donated six pairs of Everlast boxing gloves that are to be signed by Nietes and Palicte and auction off to the crowd with proceeds going to Dentistry For Every Village Foundation, a charity that runs quarterly humanitarian dental missions in the Philippines,

Cris Arias of Universal Cargo, a Balikbayan Box Specialist sent his sponsorship as well.

Henrick Macalintal, DPT of Aqua Cycling Corporation who runs a motion and aquatic therapy center in the Southern California area also sent his.

Others include Knuckleheads Pro Boxing Fraternity; the Mandirigma Clothing Company of Los Angeles a budding Pinoy customized clothing outlet run by Mandirigma Angeles, the perennial running partner of Manny Pacquiao; A8 Creatives, an outfit run by DJ Aljess that does Talent Management and Event Planning, Berkshire Hathaway, a Home Services specialist represented by Joel Dalguntas.

A local firm called Aesthetically, a property marketing service sent theirs too.

Filipino media joining the event includes the Star Access Media Production, the FilAm Star Newspaper and Abner Galino?s Weekend Balita and Beyond, Deadline and from the Philippines- Chino Trinidad?s Pilipinas HD.

Bamboo Bistro, a Filipino restaurant at Van Nuys, CA will be providing light snack for the attendees.

More sponsors are expected to join leading to the event of Saturday, August 25,2018 at the LA Filipino Cultural Center.
