GENERAL SANTOS CITY, Philippines -- Uzbeks and Filipino boxers successfully made weight ahead of the exciting SANMAN PROMOTIONS' Uzbekistan vs Philippines "Brawl at the Mall 11" Sunday (July 29) at Robinsons Place here in the famed Tuna Capital of the Philippines, General Santos City.

Games and Amusement Board officials in charge of the weigh-in were GAB Officer in charge of Southern Mindanao Datu Fahd Yasser A. Sinsuat together with GAB supervisor John Kenneth Improso, and Ring Physician Dr. Clemente Carlos III.

In the main event Uzbek action fighter, Jasur Akhmadjonov (5-0, 3 KO's) weighed-in 147 lbs for his 8-rounder tough encounter against the reigning VIZPROBA champion Rodel Wenceslao who came in two pounds lighter at 145 lbs.

In another international battle, Malaysian boxer Rajan Nadarajah made 120 lbs for his pro boxing debut against Pinoy warrior Junrex Saldivia of Glan, Sarangani. MORE EXCITING FIGHTS READY TO THRILL FANS

In addition to the three international bouts, nine more thrilling fights are ready to excite fans Sunday afternoon at Robinsons Place here in General Santos City, Philippines.

In super bantamweights, undefeated hard-hitting Jade Bornea (11-0, 7 KO's) of the Sanman Boxing Stable weighed-in at 120 lbs for his clash against the more matured Alvin Bais of Surallah, Cotabato del Sur who came in at 122 pounds. Their rumble is an 8-rounder rumble that might not made it to the limit.

In another duel, undefeated Gensan fighter Jerven Mama (5-0-1, 3 KO's) as well as journeyman Ryan Tampus made identical weight of 120 pounds for their hot 8-rounder clash.

Also, Jerry Francisco (4-0, 1 KO) of Antipas, Cotabato, and 23 year-old Davao combatant Gerald Alvarez (4-4, 4 KO) made same weight of 110 pounds. This is for eight rounds of action.

In a skirmish of veteran warriors, 2-time world-title challenger Richie "Magnum" Mepranum (32-7-1, 9 KO's) of Sarangani recorded 117 lbs to climb the ring against fellow veteran boxer Rodel Tejares. Fights begin at 3 PM.
