SINGAPORE: COWBOY VS EDWARDS PRESENTED BY AIRASIA

UFC?, the world?s premier Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organisation, today announced that no. 12 ranked heavyweight and rising star Tai ?Bam Bam? Tuivasa (10-0, fighting out of Western Sydney, Australia) will be coming to Singapore for UFC? FIGHT NIGHT SINGAPORE: COWBOY VS EDWARDS presented by AirAsia, taking place on Saturday, June 23, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Fresh from a unanimous decision victory against former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski at UFC 225, the up-and-coming, undefeated 25-year-old is one of the most exciting heavyweights in the UFC. Former National Rugby League star turned MMA fighter, Tuivasa made his UFC debut in November and has since established himself as one of Australia?s brightest MMA prospects. He is currently undefeated, boasting dominant, first round wins over Rashad Coulter and Cyril Asker.

Ahead of supporting Australian star and brother-in-law, Tyson Pedro, who will face No. 8-ranked knockout-ace Ovince Saint Preux?s in a light heavyweight showdown, Tuivasa will participate in a series of community and fan engagement activities throughout Fight Week.

Other bouts on the card include the highly anticipated main event between veteran Donald ?Cowboy? Cerrone and No. 14-ranked rising British star Leon ?Rocky? Edwards. A win from Cowboy will see him overtake Michael Bisping and George St Pierre to hold the record of most-ever wins in the UFC.
