PACQUIAO VS MARQUEZ II By Jojo Salvador PhilBoxing.com Thu, 18 Oct 2007  Who beat the legendary Barrera? Marquez did and Pacqiuao did likewise. How about Pacquiao vs Marquez? Oh! That was a draw! But who is the champion? Marquez is the World Champion. How about Pacqiuao? Interim Champion? Is there such a thing? The Pacman is the WBC International Champion while Marquez is the World Champion in the Super Featherweight Division. Now, who really is then the real Champion? Is there more than one champion in boxing? What I know, yes there is in cock fighting derby but not in boxing? We need to know. Is this a beauty contest where there is BB Pilipinas World, International and Universe? No, this is BOXING and the question at hand is who really the Champ? Marquez-Pacqiuao II will answer this lingering question. So why not put these two gladiators in the ring so we will find out the answer of who really is the champion. This is going to be top grosser not only in ticket sales, but revenues from TV and PPV will be pouring in, not to mention that the audience is not limited to any kind of people and regions in the world. This will truly be INTERNATIONAL or WORLD? The WORLD is now on the belly of Marquez but the International belt is on Pacquiao. So, at least on WBC Super Featherweight, bang the International and the World so at the end of the 12th, that is if it reaches there, who ever remains standing will be crowned the Champion of the Universe. Reports say that our Pacman declined twice the offer to fight the world champ. Is Manny afraid to face Marquez? No, I don?t think so. Or is it the money? Maybe. Whatever the reason is, the world is looking forward to see this international fight of the world that will result to the champion of the universe. Miss Universe Beauty Winner is the real champion of all the beauties, so why not WBC create the Champion of the Universe.
