McGREGOR KNOCKED OUT IN SPARRING?
By Carmelo Maisonet PhilBoxing.com Tue, 18 Jul 2017

McGregor has been under heavy criticism since getting his boxing license from the boxing community. Other boxers have even called out McGregor insinuating he has no business in the ring and his chances against even lower level boxers are slim to none. Sugar Ray Leonard calls the fight between Floyd ?Money? Mayweather (49-0) and Conor McGregor (0-0 in boxing) ?one of the biggest boxing mismatches?. Freddie Roach commented on McGregor as being? fun to watch, he?s a character but again he?s not that good a fighter? and speaks on how Chris Van Heerden told Roach he kicked McGregor?s ass in sparring. Roach even calls McGregor a 4-round fighter at best. McGregor still seemed to be the popular fighter during the Mayweather McGregor World Media Tour, pulling in pro-McGregor crowds.
Former WBA and IBO Super Lightweight Champ and former WBO welterweight champ Jessie Vargas (27-2 10KO?s) stated that ?Conor is going to get knocked 6 or 7 rounds, Mayweather always lives up to the hype you can?t doubt him(Mayweather). I even want to put money on it. It?s a 99 percent win, Conor has that one percent change to land a lucky punch.? Vargas then proceeds to say ?McGregor already got knocked out in sparing. The boxing world is small, you know it?s a small circle.?
Is what Vargas said true? Or is it speculation? Does McGregor really have a chance or is the boxing community right in saying is in way over his head? If he really did get knocked out in sparring we can only wonder what Floyd would do to him on August 26th.
