The Pacquio-Barrera Vegas Press Con (With Photos)

Las Vegas, Nevada -- Filipino boxing hero Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao met Marco Antonio Barrera for the last time this afternoon before their big fight at the Mandalay Bay Casino Resort on Saturday, October 6.
The two gladiators attended a press conference at the House of Blues at noon today put together by the dual promoters, Bob Arum?s Top Rank and Oscar de la Hoya?s Golden Boy Promotions.
Prior to the formal press conference which was hosted by Oscar de la Hoya and Bob Arum, the media was treated to a mouth-watering buffet lunch.
During the press conference all the boxers who will be on the pay-per view portion of the fight were given a chance to speak. Everyone spoke about their gratitude to the two promoters for the chance to be on the big fight card and they all stated that the are ?all in shape? and ?ready to go?.

Barrera spoke about how he ?needs? this fight and about the wonderful training afforded to him by his Team in Mexico. He also assured Freddie Roach that his hand wrapping will be legal and open for inspection by anyone.
Pacquiao was very generous in praising his Team for the preparation he had leading to the upcoming fight. He did not predict the outcome of the fight but he assured everyone that it will be a very good and entertaining fight given the fact that both he and Barrera are in ?100% condition?. Pacquiao also gave a special thank you to his lovely wife Jinky, telling her at the end, ?I love you?.
After the formal press con, the media was given a chance to speak to both Pacquiao and Barrera one on one.
