NBA Al-Star 2017: Porzingis tops Taco Bell Skills Challenge

NEW ORLEANS -- In a competition that tests passing, dribbling, agility and 3-point accuracy, you'd think that the tallest guy in the field would have the slimmest chance to win.
Well, think again.
Krtistaps Porzingis, the New York Knicks' 7-foot-3 forward won this year's Taco Bell Skills Challenge at the Smoothie King Center by besting a decorated crop of competitors that included John Wall (Washington Wizards), DEvin Booker (Phoenix Suns), Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans) DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings), Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), Isaiah Thomas (Boston Celtics) and Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz), who lost in the finals.
In winning the title, Porzingis didn't even need a lot of practice in the course.
"I did a little walk through, not running, a little walk through the obstacles and just worked a little bit on the passing and shooting."
