In has been said that to win in South Africa, you have to stop your opponent inside the distance -- and Sultan did just that.
Sultan (12-3-0, 8KOs) is the current Philippine super flyweight champion and is expected to rise in the world rankings with the victory over Tete (15-2-2, 11KOs), the oder brother of former IBF world superfly champion Zolani Tete, and ranked No. 14 by the IBF in the super flyweight division.
Sultan has now won three straight after losing to Go Onaga of Japan on Nov. 15, 2015.
