NBA - - Drummond​ leads ​Pistons ​past ​Wolves, 117-90 By Daniel Quindao Guden PhilBoxing.com Mon, 12 Dec 2016 MINNEAPOLIS - Center Andre Drummond proved unstoppable on both ends of the floor, scoring 22 points and grabbing 22 rebounds, as the Detroit Pistons routed the Minnesota Timberwolves, 117-90, at the Target Center. It was the third double-double for the season for Drummond, who went 10-of-13 from the field. "His energy was great, he was dominant, he was all over the boards" Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said. "I give my all tonight, when the ball's falling the right way like that. My energy kept going up more and more as the game went on" Drummond told reporters. Pistons forward Jon Leuer, a native from City of Orono, Minnesota delivered 17 points off the bench while Reggie Jackson came back from an injury to share 16 points. Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris had 15 each while shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 10. Andrew Wiggins topscored for the Timberwolves with 16 points while Karl-Anthony Towns submitted 14 points and 12 rebounds. Zach LaVine chipped in 14, Gorgui Dieng had 13 and Ricky Rubio tallied 10 points. "I am going to keep coming, I don't go away. I'm going to look at everything, re-examine, some things being missed, It's got to change" coach Tom Thibodeau said during post game interview. Up Next The 6-17 Timberwolves are currently 2nd to last team in the Western Conference and will stay home to host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night. The Pistons (13-12), meanwhile, holding are 8th in the East and will head home to host the Philadelphia 76ers also on Sunday.
