By Daniel Quindao Guden PhilBoxing.com Sun, 13 Nov 2016

MINNEAPOLIS - The visiting Los Angeles Clippers shot a blistering 68.2 percent from the field to beat host Minnesota, 119-105, before a solid crowd of 14,494 on Saturday night at the Target Center.
All of head coach Doc Rivers' starters scored in double figures as the Clippers soared to the best record in the NBA with a 9-1 start. Power Forward Blake Griffin was the main man with 20 points and 11 rebounds. while Chris Paul turned in 19 and 8 dimes. DeAndre Jordan and J.J. Redick each had 18 with Jordan pulling down 16 boards. Luc Mbah A moute added 15.
Trailing in the final 6 minutes of the fourth quarter, the Timberwolves resorted to repeatedly fouling Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, a notoriously bad free throw shooter. But the ploy backfired as Jordan converted 10 of 16 free throws.
"We had to work for our shots, they made it hard on us. They are really good team" Wiggins
told reporters after the game.
Karl-Anthony netted 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Wolves. Andrew Wigign had 22 while Zach LaVine chipped in 15.
Minnesota dropped to 2-6 and will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night (Monday AM in the Philippines).
