The senator also reiterated his strong support to the Duterte administration in its relentless campaign against illegal drugs, curbing corruption and to the advocacy of change. The KP Cebu launching was held at the historic Cebu coliseum with Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco as its keynote speaker, where on August 4, 1964, the coliseum was also the venue were the late Gabriel "Flash" Elorde recaptured his Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) lightweight title, their third of fourth encounters spanning from 1961-1965. Aside from the distinction of being the only eight-division world boxing champion, Pacquiao is also setting another first, to be the "only senator to be world boxing champion" if he wins in his fight against Vargas.
