Three undefeated GH3 Promotions fighters on display TONIGHT on CBS Sports Network PhilBoxing.com Fri, 16 Sep 2016 Ray Edwards battles Dan Pasciolla in televised co-feature Kenneth Sims Jr. battles Gilbert Venegas LeRoy Davilla rematches Edgar Cortes Live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia Nutley, NJ (September 15, 2016) - GH3 Promotions will have three of it's undefeated prospects on display TONIGHT at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia and live on CBS Sports Network. In the televised co-feature, former NFL Defensive End, Ray Edwards (11-0-1, 7 KO's) of Cincinnati, OH will take on Dan Pasciolla (8-1-1) of Brick, New Jersey in a heavyweight bout scheduled for eight-rounds. In a six-round welterweight bout, undefeated Kenneth Sims Jr. (7-0, 2 KO's) of Chicago will battle battle tested Gilbert Venegas (14-24-6, 8 KO's) of East Molina, Illinois. Also seeing action will be 2016 United States Olympic Alternate, LeRoy Davila (2-0, 1 KO) of New Brunswick, New Jersey rematching Edgar Cortes (3-3) of Vineland, New Jersey in a super bantamweight bout. "We are excited to showcase these three prospects in Philadelphia,"said GH3 Promotions CEO Vito Mielnicki. "Edwards is fighting a tough southpaw who has already knocked off a couple of undefeated fighters. Sims is fighting a grizzled veteran who has fought many big names in his division, so this will be a good test to see what he has. Davila is rematching Cortes. The first fight was a very competitive bout and since then Cortes got a good win on his record. These three fights are a foreshadow of what we have in store with our fighters this fall. We have them all in competitive and growing fights." GH3 Promotions features Middleweight Antoine Douglas, Super Middleweight's Jerry Odom & Ronald Ellis, undefeated Super Bantamweight Adam Lopez as well as Boxcino 2015 Jr. Middleweight Champion John Thompson, Jr., undefeated Welterweight's Kenneth Sims Jr., Jerrell Harris, Arturo Trujillo & Keenan Smith, Heavyweight Ray Edwards, Lightweight O'Shaquie Foster, Jr. Lightweight Bantamweight's Brent Venagas & LeRoy Davilla to the GH3 Promotions stable.  |
