PhilBoxing.com Mon, 20 Jun 2016

SAN FRANCISCO -- Fists of the Future fighters ?Prince? Albert and Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara packed their bags and headed to San Francisco today. Together with ALA prospect Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo who is also with the brothers to train for his upcoming match in Carson, CA later this year, ALA head trainer Edmund Villamor and ALA Promotions International Matchmaker Edito Villamor, the team will arrive in this city three weeks before fight night on July 9th at the San Mateo Event Center. Aside from scheduled pre-events for the fighters, head trainer Edmund disclosed they need to acclimatize, considering San Francisco?s unpredictable chills even in summer.
The event?s press launch is first on the team?s promotional schedules on June 22nd, at the ABS-CBN International Office.
Armed with more than a month?s training at the Wild Card Gym, main event fighter and the younger of the brothers, WBO ranked #2 Jr. Featherweight Albert Pagara is confident going head on with Mexican?s tough warrior and world title challenger Cesar Juarez. Identified as the biggest fight of his boxing career, Albert Pagara says he is as ready as he can be and promises an ?impressive win?. Whilst fighting in the co-main bout against former Mexican Super lightweight champion Abraham Alvarez, WBO #1 Jr. Welterweight Jason Pagara is just as satisfied with the weeks he has spent in preparation for his match.
The team will continue their training in San Francisco until the event day approaches.
