UNDEFEATED PROSPECT 'GRINGO' JERUSALEM FEATURED IN IDOL RE-LAUNCH
PhilBoxing.com Thu, 16 Jun 2016

Unbeaten boxing talent Melvin ?Gringo? Jerusalem (9-0-0, 7KO) gets his well-deserved place in ALA Promotions? re-launched IDOL Series on July 16th. Coming off from two consecutive major wins over WBO International minimumweight challenger Crison Omayao and former IBF World Champion Florante Condes, Jerusalem keeps his record clean to continue rising to the top. He boasts of 7 KOs out of his 9 wins. And although he is still starting to make a name for himself, Jerusalem shows a lot promise through the six KO wins he has so far delivered under 2 rounds, making him one of the few standouts every boxing fan in this country should look out for.
Launched in 2013, ALA Promotions through IDOL aims to support up and coming Filipino fighters all over the country by showing their fights on National TV. This, and the goal to sustain the sport of Boxing in the country have pushed the organization to continue the series in search for the next Boxing futures.
IDOL 2 and the next scheduled events for the series, which will be held on October 1 and December 3, will be staged in Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex, to expand to other cities all over the country by next year.
