BOYOSE A. SINGWANGCHA MADE SHORT WORK OF WILLIAM GEORGE

PhilBoxing.com

In the main event of the boxing card Friday night at the barangay gymnasium of Pajo in Lapu-Lapu City, undefeated lightweight prospect Boyose A. Singwangcha of Flores Boxing Academy/ RWS stopped an overmatched opponent in William George, from Valencia in Bukidnon. The obviously ill-prepared adversary was no match for the superior fighter from Cebu City. A booming left to the body followed by another left to the head by the towering 5'9" Boyose placed George on the canvas for the full-count in the opening stanza. Ardie Ycong Boyose, whose ring name is Boyose A. Singwangcha improves to 17-0 with 13 wins inside the distance and 2 draws.

The event, dubbed as "Binukbukay sa Barangay Pajo" featured three more bouts and is being presented by Thai promoter Naris Singwangcha and Rex "Wakee" Salud. In the chief supporting bout, Mandaue City-native Valero G. Singwangcha scores a first round knockdown with a right hand to the head against Marzon Cabilla. The next round features two more knockdowns by Valero after a barrage of body blows. After the bell rang to end round two, the opponent from Valencia, Bukidnon signaled to referee Teddy Alivio that he's had enough, handing Gerpaul Valero a TKO win.

After an uneventful feeling-out round, bantamweight Adones Aguelo of Maasin City gets to serious business and blasts Bryan Samson of Lazi, Siquijor into submission to end matters in the second round. Super bantamweights Simpai Flores of Cebu City and Honorato Boc engaged in torrid exchanges all through out their four-rounder. But it was Flores' excellent work on pressuring the Lapu-Lapu City pug along the ropes that spell the difference and wins a split decision.

There were also exhibition bouts featuring boxers from Flores Boxing Academy/ RWS and fighters from India.
