ALA FIGHTERS JASON PAGARA AND MARK MAGSAYO START L.A. TRAINING PhilBoxing.com Sun, 05 Jun 2016 ![]() WBO International Super Lightweight champion Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara (38-2, 23KOs) along with the WBO International Featherweight Champion Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo (14-0, 11KOs) just set foot in Los Angeles, California earlier this week. Jason Pagara, who recently won against Mexican Miguel Zamudio on the undercard of the 'Donaire vs Bedak: The Time Has Come' fight card last April 23 in Cebu, will once again showcase his skills as the supporting main event in 'Pinoy Pride 37: Fists of the Future' happening on July 9 at the San Mateo Event Center in San Mateo, California. Mark Magsayo, on the other hand, traveled along the older Pagara for his training in preparation for his upcoming fight among the undercard fighters on September 24 at Stubhub Center in Carson, California. Although ALA Promotions President Michael Aldeguer showed positive assessment on Mark Magsayo, he annotated that the young prospect has so much more work to do in the gym to develop his skills as he has seen some lapses during Magsayo?s fight against experienced world challenger Chris Avalos. ?He is only 20 years old with only 14 fights. He is not ready yet and still far from becoming a world title holder. Only time will tell what he can accomplish in the future,? Aldeguer said. The two fighters will both train at the Wildcard Gym in LA including the younger Pagara, Albert, who arrived two weeks earlier, under ALA Chief head trainer, Edmund Villamor.
