WEIGHTS FROM BACOLOD CITY: NIETES - 108 LBS, GARCIA - 108 LBS (PHOTOS) By Dong Secuya PhilBoxing.com Fri, 27 May 2016  BACOLOD CITY, Philippines -- Both WBO defending junior flyweight champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes of the Philippines and his challenger Raul 'Rayito' Garcia of Mexico came in at the junior flyweight weight limit of 108 lbs during the official weighin held at the Robinson's Mall here Friday afternoon for their title showdown tomorrow night, Saturday, at the St. La Salle Coliseum here. Nietes (37-1-4, 21KO), who was born from the nearby town Murcia and is currently the longest reigning world champion in Philippine history, appeared confident and relaxed as his opponent Garcia (38-3-1, 23KO) has promised to end Nietes's dominance of his Mexican opponents. Third man in the ring for the Nietes-Garcia fight is Celestino Ruiz of Chicago while the judges are Robert Hoyle of Las Vegas, Pinit Prayabsab of Thailand and Mike Fitzgerald of Wisconsin, USA. The official weighin for the WBO title was supervised by Gino Rodriguez while weighin for the undercard fights were supervised by GAB chairman Ramon Guanzon Jr assisted by Rolando Mendoza.  WBO junior flyweight world championship 12 rounds Donnie Nietes - 108 lbs vs Raul Garcia - 108 lbs.  WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight championship 12 rounds Arthur Villanueva, Philippines - 117.5 lbs vs Juan Jimenez, Mexico - 118 lbs.  10 rounds junior flyweight Milan Melindo, Philippines - 114.75 lbs vs Maximino Flores, Mexico - 110 lbs. Melindo was 4 lbs over the contracted weight and was given 2 hours to reduce.  8 rounds junior flyweight Kevin Cataraja, Philippines - 112 lbs vs Chatchai Or Benjamas, Thailand - 112 lbs.  Philippine super flyweight championship 12 rounds Jonas Sultan, Zamboanga del Norte - 114.5 lbs vs Rommel Oliveros, Paranaque City - 115 lbs  8 rounds super flyweight bout Raul Yu, Butuan City - 114 lbs vs Robert Ates, Bacolod City - 115 lbs  6 rounds flyweight Kenneth Gentallan, Tagbilaran City - 111 lbs vs Lenmar Prescillas, Mandaue City - 111 lbs  6 rounds flyweight Gerard Suico, Mandaue City - 111 lbs vs Reymund Rama, Mandaue City - 112 lbs.
