POUND FOR POUND NO.1 ?CHOCALATITO? GONZALEZ BACK TO TRAINING IN COSTA RICA FOR TITLE DEFENSE
By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Tue, 15 Mar 2016

World Boxing Council flyweight champion and unbeaten pound for pound No.1 Roman ?Chocolatito? Gonzalez is relying on a winning formula, by traveling to Costa Rica, along with his team, to train for his next title defense.
His team includes Arnulfo Obando (Trainer), Wilmer Hern?ndez (Physical trainer), and Luis Gonzalez (Dad plus Associate).
The WBC reports that Roman will train in Costa Rica for a full month, to reach peak condition for the title defense against Puerto Rican, McWilliams Arroyo, on April 23rd at the Inglewood Forum in Los Angeles.
An internet report said ?After training last year in Costa Rica, Roman and team, achieved "Chariots of Fire" success. Now wild horses won't prevent them from returning, in order to extend his reign.
Gonzalez said ?I am traveling this Sunday, I will train the exact same way I did prior to my fight with Brian Viloria. I will be completely focused, far from distractions. I believe that this fight against Arroyo will be great, so I must train exceptionally hard for it."
Arroyo is coming off a 3rd round TKO of Victor Ruiz in a scheduled ten round bout last April 11, 2015 following a hugely controversial split decision loss to IBF champion Amnat Ruenroeng in Thailand on September 10, 2014.
