LEAGUE OF FISTS: SEMIS AND SEASON TWO MATCHES DAY 2

SHANGHAI,CHINA ? Niu Zhongjie relied on his reach, accuracy and footwork to win his semi-final super lightweight bout against Li Weifang. Niu easily evaded Li?s attempts to get in close as he fired straight lefts and sharp jabs throughout the six rounds.
Scores ? Yang Hong ? 59-55, Samson Iu ? 60-54, Mekin Sumon ? 58-56.

In the second super lightweight semi-final bout for Season One, Weng Tao upset the previously undefeated Aizi Aili by split decision in a tense tactical contest.

Weng scored a knockdown in the second round but it was a closely fought contest in the subsequent rounds. Scores ? Salven Lagumbay 57-56, Zhu Yuwen 59-54 for Weng, Mekin Sumon 58-55 for Aizi.

Junior flyweights Chao Lemen and Liu Hao opened the second day of the League of Fists Season Two with Chao winning by unanimous decision. Scores ? Salven Lagumbay and Yan Wenyong ? 39-37, Feng Yaocheng ? 40-36.

Zhang Chengbo also got a unanimous verdict against Rousidanmu Abulaiti in their light heavyweight match. Scores were 40-36 from Surat Soikrachang, Tao Zhendong and Zhao Yubin.

Southpaw junior featherweights Ayati Sailike and Ni Zhuang battled to a split draw. Scores ? Danrex Tapdasan ? 38-38, Samson Iu ? 37-39, Tao Zhendong ? 40-36.

Ma Haibin beat Chao Ke by split decision in their junior flyweight bout. Scores ? Salven Lagumbay 37-39, Yang Hong ? 40-36, Yin Haiyang ? 39-37.

Light heavyweight Wuzhati Nuerlang won by TKO against Wang Mingyu whose corner signaled their fighter will not continue at the end of round two. Wang had bleeding from his nose at the end of round one and was at the receiving end of hard shots in the second.

Ren Kuihan bucked a cut on his left earlobe to beat Yi Menglong by unanimous decision in their junior featherweight contest. Scores of 40-36 from Yin Haiyang, Feng Yaocheng and Han Hongxiang.

Junior flyweight Maihesutijiang Maihemuti knocked down Yan Bijian in the fourth and final round to win a unanimous verdict. Scores 39-36 from Salven Lagumbay and Yin Haiyang, 40-35 from Yan Wenyong.

Light heavyweight Zhong Wen knocked down Song Yuanzhen in the opening round and cruised to a unanimous decision win. Scores ? Han Hongxiang and Danrex Tapdasan ? 38-37, Surat Soikrachang ? 39-36.

The fights were held Saturday at Yun Space in Shanghai. The League of Fists boxing tournament is promoted by SECA and TOP RANK. The tournament winners will be crowned Greater China champions by the WBO. The bouts were officiated by the Professional Boxing Commission (PBC) of China.
