NBA -- Spurs hold off Lakers, 119-113​

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the San Antonio Spurs, 119-113, on Friday night at Staples Center.
It was the Lakers' fourth straight defeat and 45th loss overall. They only have 11 wins this season and they lost to a powerhouse Spurs team that missed the services of the injured Kawhi Leonard (calf ) and Manu Ginobili (groin).
The Lakers cut a 15-point deficit down to four after a vintage Kobe Bryant turn-around jumper. But Australian native Patty Mills put away the game for good after hitting a 3-pointer that allowed the Spurs to pull away .
Tony Parker led the Spurs with 25 points. LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 while Mills scored 15 off the bench. Kyle Anderson, starting in place of sidelined Leonard, got 14 while Tim Duncan registered a quiet double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Bryant, who sustained a dislocated finger led the Lakers with 25. The Lakers also got 21 points from Lou Williams and 20 from Jordan Clarkson, who had four triples in the first quarter. Julius Randle had another double-double with 11 and 15 rebounds.
The Lakers travel to Chicago to play the Bulls on Sunday while the visit the Suns in Phoenix.
