'PINOY PRIDE 35: STARS OF THE FUTURE' IN FULL SWING PhilBoxing.com Thu, 18 Feb 2016  ALA Promotions is in full swing as the highly anticipated ?Pinoy Pride 35: Stars of the Future? approaches. The 35th edition of the mega boxing series Pinoy Pride dubbed as ?Stars of the Future? will be held on February 27 in Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. PP35 features 2016?s most promising back to back action-packed bouts as both undefeated ?Prince? Albert Pagara and Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo fight for the WBO Intercontinental Jr. Featherweight title and WBO Youth Featherweight Championship, respectively. Also fighting as the main undercard is the amateur sensation Kevin Jake ?KJ? Cataraja, along five (5) other exciting matches including Elmo ?Bisdak? Traya, Jeo ?Santino? Santisima, Melvin ?Gringo? Jerusalem, Esneth Domingo and Singaporean former SEA Games medalist, Muhammad Ridhwan. The main events fighters, Pagara, Magsayo and Cataraja, of PP35 appeared in Maayong Buntag Kapamilya last Feb 17, followed by radio guestings in DYAB and MOR 97.1. This Friday, February 19, the Filipino fighters will be in the Event Center of SM City Cebu for a Public Workout starting at 5PM. The opponents namely Nicaraguan Champion Yesner ?Cuajadita? Talavera and Mexican fighters Eduardo ?Fierita? Montoya and Tony Rodriguez are set to arrive in Cebu City on February 23. The Nicaraguan and Mexican opponents are also scheduled for various pre-event activities. On February 23, they will be presented to the local media for a Press Conference in Montebello Hotel at 11 in the morning. That will be followed by a Public Workout on February 24 in the Event Center of SM City Cebu at 5pm. PP35 fighters will then be gathered in Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino for the official Press Conference on February 25 at 11AM. On February 26, a Public Weigh-in will be staged in Robinsons Galleria Cebu ? Atrium at 12noon. Watch the fighters trade blows in the ring live at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on Feb. 27.
