Cruz Vs. Koasicha Headline Boxeo Telemundo March 4

Tampa, FL: The second show of the spring series ?Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford? will land on Friday, March 4 at the A La Carte Pavillion in Tampa, Florida which has been home of the series for over 10 years.
The main event will pit another Puerto Rico-Mexico rivalry when world ranked contender and NABO Champion Orlando ?El Fenomeno" Cruz (22-4-1-11 KO?s) of San Juan, Puerto Rico defends his title against National Champion Romulo Koasicha (25-5-15 KO?s) of San Luis Potosi,, Mexico, Mexico in a bout schedule for 10 Rounds
with Cruz Jr. Lightweight title on the line.
Cruz, 34, is a former olympian of the 2000 class, has had his up and downs in his pro career, a series favorite, has won all of his 5 fights in Telemundo, felled short in an attempt to capture the WBO feather belt from Orlando Salido, in his last fight moved up in the weight and beat Gabino Cota for the NABO Jr. Lightweight belt and is now looking at a world title fight in this division. Koasicha, 24, on the other hand is the National featherweight champion from Mexico, also a world title challenger, in his last fight lost to Champion Vasyl Lomanchenko in Las Vegas, will be making his 2nd appearance on the series, in his first fight he halted Guillermo Avila in 7 rounds to capture the National belt.
Also on the card undefeated welterweight and local idol ?Hurricane? Sammy Valentin (5-0-4 KO?s) amongst others.The undercard will be announce shortly, 6 more fights are schedule. Doors open 7:30 PM, First bell at 8:00 PM. Telemundo Network will televise the main event at 11:35 PM EST live. The show is being presented by Tuto Zabala, Jr.,
