GALLEN AND ENE-PURCELL GO FACE TO FACE

PAUL GALLEN AND HERMAN ENE-PURCELL WENT FACE TO FACE at today's media weigh in at the Vault on Ruthven in Toowoomba - among the famous faces in the crowd Queensland origin legend Trevor Gillmeister.
Both men, looking fit, strong and focused locked eyes, didn't flinch and didn't turn away until instructed to by officials.
"I'm ready to go," Ene-Purcell said.
"I'm a different fighter to the fighter I was two years ago and so is Paul I'm sure.
"I'm fit and prepared, I've had a great training camp and can't wait until tomorrow night."
Paul Gallen will no doubt be public enemy number one when he works into Rumours International tomorrow night, however the Blues captain admitted he was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming hospitality he's received since arriving in the Garden City.
"The hospitality has been great," Gallen said.
"I know that'll probably change tomorrow night but I expect that and I'm used to big crowds and I'm not worried about it.
"If I take my sparring and my training into the fight I'm confident I can win," Gallen said.
The countdown is on. The city of Toowoomba is buzzing. It's set to be a huge event one of the biggest Toowoomba has ever seen.
"I can't thank Toowoomba enough for the support they've shown this show," Promoter Brendon Smith said.
