Here is what Flores had to say about training, his opponent and more: On his relationship with longtime coach Aaron Navarro: "Aaron is an unbelievable coach and mentor. I've been with him since I first laced up a pair of gloves at age 8. He knows how to push me while getting the best out of what God has blessed me with. Together we make a great team and I have a great deal of respect for him. He's one of the best trainers in boxing." On fighting in the main event on TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS: "This is another wonderful opportunity for me to show everyone that I can fight at the top level. I'm very grateful to FOX Sports for showcasing me in the main event. Anyone who's seen me fight knows I like to fight toe-to-toe. Against Briones, it will be no different. The grind is grueling but well worth it when I look back on all the hard work, especially when I'm victorious. I had a tremendous amount of good sparring with some very good fighters. On his matchup with Mexico's Mario Briones: "Anytime you're up against a fighter from Mexico you know you're in for a tough fight. Briones is a veteran of over 30 fights so I know he's got some tricks up his sleeve. I'm expecting a very rugged fight but one I feel I can win. The fans are going to see a classic Mexican war."
