At the official weighin Friday for Saturday's WBA Interim heavyweight championship at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Veronay, New York, Bryant Jennings (R) (19-1, 10KO) of Philadelphia, PA stepped the scales at 229.5 lbs while his opponent Luis Ortiz (23-0, 20KO) of Miami, FL came in at 239 lbs.
In the co-main event for a 10-round super featherweight bout, Nicholas Walters (26-0, 21KO) of Montenegro Bay, Jamaica weighed in at 129.5 lbs while his opponent Jason Sosa (18-1-3, 14KO) of Camden, NJ came in at 130 lbs.
